Metro Codes logs 199 building permit applications Oct. 9-15

NASHVILLE - Metro Codes entered 199 building permit applications from Friday, Oct. 9, through Thursday, Oct. 15, 2026, according to Metro's Building Permit Applications dataset on data.nashville.gov. Oct. 15 was the newest entry date when the data was checked.

Applications for new residential construction led the week with 78. They were followed by commercial rehabs (28), residential additions (25), demolition permits (23), residential rehabs (nine), new commercial buildings (seven) and commercial contractor changes (seven). The other 22 included use-and-occupancy, tenant finish-out, roofing, amendment, shell, framing and sign applications.

By day, the dataset lists 14 applications on Oct. 9, one on Oct. 10, two on Oct. 11, 35 on Oct. 12, 43 on Oct. 13, 31 on Oct. 14 and 73 on Oct. 15.
