SUU men's basketball hosts first-year Grace (Calif.) at 6:30 p.m. Thursday
The Thunderbirds are 1-0 after scoring 134 points in the opener; the game is on ESPN+.
CEDAR CITY - Southern Utah men's basketball hosts Grace (Calif.) at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the America First Event Center, looking for a second win in four days after opening with a 134-69 victory over West Coast Baptist on Nov. 2, according to SUU Athletics.
Fans can watch on ESPN+. The 134 points were the most SUU has scored in a game since at least 2000-01, the release says. Nine Thunderbirds scored in double figures, led by Jajuan Nicholls and Mikhail Protsenko with 14 each.
Grace, the Talons from Pomona, Calif., is in its first season under head coach Les Bean as a founding member of the California Collegiate Alliance. The Talons play Utah Tech on Nov. 4, so Thursday in Cedar City is their second game in two days. SUU's next home game is Bethesda on Saturday, Nov. 7, at 6:30 p.m.
