Oklahoma plays at Mississippi State on Saturday after loss to Kentucky

NORMAN - The University of Oklahoma football team plays at Mississippi State in Starkville, Miss., at 2:30 p.m. CT Saturday, Oct. 24, according to the official OU athletics schedule. The game will air on SEC Network, the university's game release says.
The Sooners enter at 3-3 overall and 1-2 in Southeastern Conference play. They lost 21-13 to No. 15 Kentucky on Oct. 17 at Gaylord Family-Oklahoma Memorial Stadium after leading 13-7 through three quarters, according to OU's recap.
Freshman defensive lineman Jake Kreul was named SEC Freshman of the Week on Oct. 19 after recording 2.5 sacks and six tackles against Kentucky, the athletics department announced. OU says the sack total is a school record for a true freshman.
After Mississippi State, Oklahoma returns home to face South Carolina at 3:15 p.m. CT Oct. 31, the schedule shows.
