Fisher football loses 49-22 at Arthur-Lovington-Atwood-Hammond before playoffs
Eighth-seeded Fisher will host the winner of Abingdon-Avon and Morrison in the Class 1A first round
ARTHUR - Arthur-Lovington-Atwood-Hammond beat Fisher 49-22 in a regular-season football game on Saturday, Oct. 17, according to the official final score posted by the Illinois High School Association. The IHSA page shows the final score only.
Fisher, seeded eighth in Class 1A, has no opening-round game, the IHSA playoff bracket shows. The team will host the winner of the opening-round game between No. 9 Abingdon-Avon and No. 24 Morrison, which is set for 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 23, at Abingdon.
The bracket lists Fisher as the host for the first-round game, with the date to be announced.
