CHAMPAIGN - Krannert Art Museum will hold "Kids at KAM: Artmaking and More!" from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 17, according to the museum's events calendar.

The free event is aimed at children 3 and older and the adults with them. The museum says families can try art activities, join tours and watch demonstrations on the main level, all tied to the exhibitions now on view, and children who finish a scavenger hunt can win a prize.

The museum is at 500 E. Peabody Drive, Champaign. Its listing says nearby parking is free on weekends, and visitors can email the museum ahead of time to request accessibility accommodations.
