CHAMPAIGN - Musician Ashley Stevenson will play the SoundBites lunchtime concert series from noon to 1:15 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 22, on the Downtown Plaza Stage, 310 N. Neil St., according to Visit Downtown Champaign's events calendar.

The weekly series features local solo and acoustic performers, and the organizers invite people to take a midday break and bring lunch. The listing says a SoundBites Lunch Club Card offers special discounts and lunch deals at participating downtown restaurants, which it describes as a way to support local artists at the same time.
