Central girls flag football falls 26-22 to Bradley-Bourbonnais in sectional final
Maroons' season ends one step short of state finals
CHAMPAIGN - Champaign Central's girls flag football team fell 26-22 to Bradley-Bourbonnais in the sectional championship game Tuesday, Oct. 13, at Momence, according to the official final posted by the Illinois High School Association.
The four-point margin ended Central's postseason run one game short of the state finals, IHSA's results show. With the sectional title, Bradley-Bourbonnais advances to the state quarterfinals, according to the association.
The IHSA girls flag football state finals will be held at Willowbrook High School in Villa Park, according to the association.
