URBANA - The What You Will Theatre Company presents Sophocles' "Antigone" with Spurlock Museum at 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 16, and Saturday, Oct. 17, in the museum's Knight Auditorium, 600 S. Gregory St., according to the museum's events calendar. Naomi Saathoff and Ben Hanson direct a production the museum describes as drawing on classical Greek theatre and design.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are sold only at the door, by cash or Venmo: $7 for students and $10 for everyone else.
Earlier in the week, from 4 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 14, Spurlock hosts a free crafting session in its Hundley Central Core Gallery to make signs and crafts for the CU Pride Parade and Fest on Oct. 17. The museum says it is coordinating a campus cultural coalition to march in the parade, supplies are provided and anyone may come, whether or not they march.
