CHAMPAIGN - The Illinois women's tennis team is hosting the 2026 ITA Midwest Regional Championships from Thursday through Monday at Atkins Tennis Center, according to Fighting Illini Athletics. All 10 Illini are entered in singles, doubles or both.
It is the team's only home event of the fall and the second straight year Illinois has hosted the regional. The single-elimination tournament is one of four fall events that qualify players for the NCAA Singles and Doubles Championships in November: the two singles finalists and the doubles champion from each region advance.
Play starts at 9 a.m. each day unless noted. Qualifying singles run Thursday, the main draws begin Friday, and the doubles final and singles semifinals and final are Monday, Oct. 12.
