Baker school district reports 91.82% attendance and 17.43% chronic absenteeism for Oct. 21

BAKER - The City of Baker School District recorded a 91.82% attendance rate across its 942 enrolled students on Wednesday, Oct. 21, according to the daily attendance tracker on the district's home page. The tracker put chronic absenteeism, which it describes as missing 10% or more of school, at 17.43%.

The dashboard, which the district says pulls figures directly from its attendance sheet, also lists the day's family outreach: four parent conferences, three home visits and no FINS referrals. The page was last updated at 12:50 p.m. Wednesday.

The district runs two schools, Park Ridge Achievement Academy for pre-K through eighth grade and Baker High School for grades 9 through 12, its website shows.
